The Ruthless Comedy Hour is a comedy variety show for grownups with half an effing brain. In its 8th smash year, it features top stand-up comedians, musicians and celebrity interviews, and addresses social, political and local concerns by making brutal fun of them. Bergreen is a veteran stand-up comedian and author of two acclaimed novels. Kaplan tours extensively with her comedy rock band, The Cynthia Kaplan Ordeal, and is the author of two just as acclaimed collections of humorous essays.
The Ruthless Comedy Hour is produced by Eileen Katz (MTV, Comedy Central)Mary Harron is the award-winning director of such iconic films as I Shot Andy Warhol, American Psycho (which just celebrated its 25th anniversary at the Tribeca Film Festival), The Notorious Bettie Page, and Charlie Says, among many others. Her latest TV credits include the much lauded series Alias Grace and The Expecting.
Gregg Rogell is a NY based comedian and a regular performer at the Comedy Cellar. He has appeared on The Tonight Show, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and Louie, has a half hour special on Comedy Central, and was a featured performer in the movie The Aristocrats. Gregg has toured opening for Russell Peters, Dolly Parton and Dave Chappelle and has appeared with Bob Hope and Bill Cosby on several NBC specials.
